HIGH POWER SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 07-57133. Bbl. 4 5/8". High Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Argentina by FMAP "DM" (Military Portable Weapons Factory "Domingo Matheu") under license from FN for the cancelled Chilean contract. The left side of the slide is marked "FABRICA MILITAR DE ARMAS PORTATILES "DM" ROSARIO/ D.G.F.M." above "LICENCIA FN-BROWNING" and "INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA". Right side of the frame is marked with the S#, followed by "5997" above a defaced "CARABINEROS DE CHILE" marking, with a Century Arms' import mark present on the right, beneath the grip panel. Metal components exhibit a matte black finish (applied over a phosphate finish) overall, save for on the 2-piece bbl., which exhibits a phosphate finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black synthetic grips, with a lanyard ring on the left side. Slide features an external extractor, with a fixed half-moon blade front sight, and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching in the "stacked" fashion, and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: 1 phosphate 13-rd., with black enamel finished button type floorplate. CONDITION: metal component retain bountiful amounts of their arsenal matte black finish, exhibiting some superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting some light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable.
