Bull Head was one of General Custer's favorite scouts, and was a Sergeant who wore three stripes on his arm and a hat with a brass bugle emblem. He also belonged to a secret society called the "New Dog". Sitting Bull was also in this society and they believed in a special spirit, White Stone. Bull Head did not participate in Little Bighorn because the special spirit told him not to.
