British Enfield No.1 Mk VI Double Action Revolver, #A6767, .45 ACP cal., 6" flat sided barrel, blued finish, checkered black plastic grips marked "M" on each side, pinned blade front sight, fixed rear sight with "U"-notched groove, and swiveling steel lanyard ring at bottom of the grip frame, with an excellent condition green lanyard. A leather protector is attached to face of the hammer. Right side of the frame is marked "ENFIELD/Mk(crown)VI" with a "25 (in service stamp)/(proof stamp)/(broad arrow)/(view inspection mark)" on left side of the barrel strap. Pistol was in Australian service and is stamped with a "D(broad arrow)D" and "784" rack number on the rear grip strap. With "(broad arrow)D" on left side of the frame and barrel. Matching numbers. No visible import marks. Cylinder was importer converted to .45 ACP caliber by machining off the rear. Condition overall is fine, retaining approx. 95% reblued finish, showing a few old patina spots to the barrel. Grips are very good, showing handling marks and areas of flattening to the checkering. An "M" has been scratched into the bottom of the right grip. Action locks up, cycles, and ejects smoothly. Bore is bright with very good, clearly defined rifling.
