Belgian Congo Winchester Model 1894 30-30 SRC
The Belgian Congo Rifles were part of a group of 94s that were shipped to France in WWI. After the war France sold some of these rifles to Belgium. They were refurbished (including re-blueing) for use in the African Belgian Congo. In the early 1960's a Firm imported approx. 2500 rifles into Canada. This rifle is 1 of the rifles imported to Canada.
These rifles had Sling Swivels that were in-letted into the side of the stock by the French armorers. The rear ladder sights were stamped with the word Meters. This particular rifle has a standard 94 Carbine ladder sight without the word Meters.
The barrel, receiver and the bolt and locking lug is stamped with Belgian proof marks.
Overall condition is Good with a dent on the left side of the forearm. The Bore is very good shiny condition.

This rifle would be an outstanding piece in any Winchester Collection.
All used rifles must be inspected by a Competent Gunsmith before firing.
