Main Description: Blade front sight with ramp, replaced adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, lock marked Crown VR dated 1856, checkered spur hammer that functions, uses musket caps. One piece full military wood stock, forearm channel is chipped, straight grip chipped behind tang around lock and cracked on left side behind barrel, smooth brass butt plate numbered 5701 NS, partial roundel on right side of stock, nipple protector missing leather pad, sling swivels with white leather military sling, replaced ramrod.

Wear: Metal finish turning silver grey with pitting overall, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stock shows marks, scratches and wear.
