Cal. 357 Mag. S# 30-65037. Bbl. is 6 1/2" with serrated blade integral to ramped base front sight plus factory adjustable aluminum rear sight with added white outlined blade. Mfg. 1970 (1962-1973) as BKH-36 with post manufacture alterations of straight slotted blued steel ejector housing, jeweled hammer sides plus factory brass grip frame (Super Blackhawk sized Dragoon style correctly marked under right grip with "MR-3DB") having Super Blackhawk wide serrated trigger and smooth walnut grips; silver eagle medallions. Original brass framed 357's were done in 1972 to use up on hand optional brass frames as they could not be used on the New Models that were coming in 1973. This vintage revolver would also have had an alloy ejector housing rather than steel. Eagle logo on frame and "INC." on barrel. Flat faced ejector rod head plus wide band base pin. Does not have factory safety update parts; original lockwork. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: about good matching numbered (very faint) 2 piece yellow and black box having broken corner on bottom; top is good looking with spot of tape damage plus both corners of left side are broken. Good 3 piece (unused) warranty card. CONDITION: very faint finish thinning at muzzle and tip of ejector housing. Brass has minimal patina with some very small marks on butt. Grip frame fits well to cylinder frame which along with barrel has original finish. Ejector housing and base pin have slightly more polish than normal; all other aspects of its original finish (including bore and grips) are near excellent. (26-1041/NW). CURIO. $750-1,000.
