Bbl 19.5" overall, 12.5" Tapering octagonal to round swamped barrel, 8" iron belt hook, "AA / C.4. 23" unit markings stamped on sideplate, "SARRIA" maker mark in gold poncoin on barrel breech, brass furniture. Barrel engraved "REGIM to DE CABALLa DEL PRINCIPE" which translates to "regiment of the Prince's cavalry". Spanish coat of arms on thumb plate and breech. CONDITION: very good overall, complete & original other than replaced wood ramrod, mechanically fine, good clear smooth bore. PROVENANCE: estate collection of Compton LaBauve, Jr. (01-28915/JS).
