SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE. Cal. 308. S# A026691. Bbl. 17". HK91 semi-automatic rifle mfg. in Germany by Heckler & Koch and imported by HK Inc. in 1980. The left side of the receiver is marked with the model designation and S# above a triad of German proofs, consisting of an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof, "IA" (80) date code, and Ulm proof house Antler, with HK Inc.'s importer information and the cal. designation marked on the right. Bolt carrier exhibits a Bundeswehr encircled star proof, followed by a "3/62" date code. Bolt is "IA" (80) date coded. Metal components exhibit a gray enamel finish overall, with some small parts exhibiting a phosphate finish. Black synthetic forearm (with bipod), gray/green synthetic pistol grip, and fixed black synthetic buttstock. Standard hooded post front sight and 4-position drum rear sight. Blued aftermarket flash hider. Button mag. release, with inoperable paddle mag. release (due to importation restrictions). MAGS: x1 aluminum 20-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory gray enamel finish, exhibiting some scattered superficial handling marks overall. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Synthetic furniture is very good overall, with some scattered handling marks present on the buttstock.
