1) British pattern 1850 Constabulary sword measuring 27 1/2" overall with a plain unmarked blade with a spring catch. Simple brass hilt marked on the side "PARKER FIELD & SONS LONDON" with a wire wrapped shark skin grip. Brass mounted black leather scabbard. CONDITION: light wear overall with very minor losses to the grip. 2) Circa 1820 British bandsman's sword measuring 31 1/2" overall with a plain unmarked blade that is diamond in cross section. Solid brass hilt and grip with a lion's head pommel featuring a lanyard ring in the lion's mouth. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a dark patina and the hilt shows light wear. 3) British pattern 1856 drummer's sword measuring 25" overall with a small amount of etching on one side. The blade is marked "REEVES MAKER TOLEDO WORKS Birmingham". Solid brass hilt and grip with a "VR" in the center of the crossguard. Brass mounted leather scabbard. CONDITION: sword shows very light overall wear and the scabbard shows heavier use. PROVENANCE: From the PMRB Collection. (02-25863/BF). NON-GUN. $500-800.
