BAYONET. 1) Overall length is 37 5/8" with a 25 1/2" blade having a straight hamon and a gilded brass habaki. Classic four cherry blossom gilded brass tsuba with 2 seppa below and 1 above. The nakago has no signature, but does have 4 figures in black paint and a single mekugi-ana. Non-matching fuchi and kabuto-gane. White same with matching menuki featuring fruit and foliage. Brown tuska-ito. Black lacquered wooden saya. CONDITION: this katana appears to be assembled from parts. The blade and tsuka are original, however the tsuba and seppa maybe be reproductions. 2) Overall length is 39" with a 26 1/4" blade having no discernible hamon and a brass habaki. Four cherry blossom gilded brass tsuba with 2 seppa above and below. The nakago has no signature and a single mekugi-ana. Tsuka has non-matching fuchi and kabuto-gane. Simulated white same with matching three cherry blossom menuki. Black tuska-ito. Black leather covered wooden saya. Due to the poor mfg techniques of this katana and the fact it appears to be made up from parts; we consider this piece to be a reproduction. CONDITION: blade is stained with no polish. Tsuka is of poor quality. Saya shows light wear. 3) Late war last ditch production Arasaka bayonet measuring 20" overall. Mfg. by the Toyada Automatic Loom Works under Nagoya supervision. 2pc wood grip, no scabbard. CONDITION: moderate wear throughout. (02-27003/BF). NON-GUN. $400-700.
