Cal. 32 WCF. S# 338920. Mfg. 1920. There were approx 29,000 standard frame SAA in this caliber produced by Colt. This example is fitted with a 4 3/4" blued bbl with 2-line Hartford bbl address. The frame has the 2-line "PAT. SEPT 19, 1871 / JULY 2. 72. JAN. 19. 75.". The cylinder is marked with the last 2 digits of the SN "20". Aftermarket 2-piece mother of pearl grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Colt Letter confirming cal & bbl length, blued finish, & unlisted stocks. The revolver was shipped to Charled Ilfeld Company, Las Vegas, NV as part of a 2 gun shipment on February 18, 1920. CONDITION: Overall very good as restored. The bbl & cyl retain all of their restored blue finish with a light dragline present on the cylinder. The frame and hammer have most of the reapplied case coloring. There is a spot of oxidation under the grips. The right grip panel has a tight crack, otherwise the grips are very good. Shiny bore with light rifling wear. (26-2050/ZAL) CURIO $1500-2000
