This SRC has the name White Bull Minneconjou written in togia on the wrist with a message "White Bull-Minneconjou-Hundred In The Hand", along with two other messages written on the SRC. The Collector met White Bull's grandson, David Bald Eagle, in the 1960's when he was working on the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota and sat with him many times talking about White Bull and the stories David heard as a child about guns and the Lakota battles. The Collector believes this carbine was taken by White Bull at the Fetterman Massacre and he has also found a related revolver with S/N 158551.
